LACMA Event at St. Vibiana's

Anyone who hasn't gotten a chance to see the recently restored St. Vibiana's Cathedral will have an opportunity to do so on Saturday, April 22nd. The downtown historic landmark is the final destination for LACMA Muse's ArtWalk 2006.

ArtWalk 2006 is a celebration of the visual arts and the vibrant community of enthusiasts who support it. This year ArtWalk takes Muse members and guests to historical downtown Los Angeles, where turn-of-the-century architecture meets a burgeoning community of galleries known collectively as Gallery Row. Explore the neighborhood and then reconvene at the historical and recently refurbished St. Vibiana's Cathedral for a special evening reception featuring sweet DJs, cocktails, and hors d'oeuvres.

The ArtWalk on Gallery Row is free and open to the public on Saturday, April 22 from 12pm to 6pm. The ArtWalk Reception will follow from 6pm to 9pm at St. Vibiana's Cathedral. Admission to the reception is $20 for LACMA Muse members, or $30 for non-members. Tickets go on sale March 15. They can be purchased online, at LACMA's Welcome Center, or by calling (323) 857-6010.
